Hi Everyone!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a pretty relaxing day - or at least I did! Mommy & Daddy both worked from home because of the bad road conditions (we had 3 inches of sleet). Luckily, we didn't get too much ice - otherwise, we would have lost power. In the spirit of Valentine's Day, I wanted to write a post dedicated to the only man in my life: my Daddy!

I just wanted to share a list of reasons why I love him!

1. You helped create me - so I gotta love you for that!
2. You pray for me every night (and with me every morning) so that I would one day know and accept Jesus Christ into my life.
3. You spent several hours today shoveling snow so that we wouldn't be completely trapped (unfortunately, when the snow plow truck finally came through our neighborhood tonight, it dumped a bunch of snow at the end of our driveway!!!). Also, we don't have SUVs!
4. You've been getting up a lot during the night these days to spend time with me (yeah, I kind of stopped sleeping through the night a few weeks ago).
5. You sent me (and Mommy) flowers today (even though the flowers could not get delivered due to the snow/ice storm). Still, I appreciate the fact that you remembered and cared:)
6. You're so fun and funny when you play peek a boo with me!
7. You think that I'm a genius baby!
8. You're so concerned about my health and nutrition. Because of you, I've only had either breastmilk or organic foods since the day I was born. Also, I really appreciate all of your diligent research on vaccinations.
9. You've taught me to be a kind, loving and honest baby.
10. You've encouraged me to go to church (even I'm usually just rolling around on the floor in the "crying/family" room).
11. You always believed in me. You were never concerned that I couldn't crawl. You always knew that I would do things on my own time.

I know that I write down many more reasons, but I'll limit my list to just those eleven for now because it is way past my bedtime:)
