Sleep Drama!

Hi Everyone,

I haven't had too much of an opportunity to discuss my sleep "issues." So let me tell you what's going on.

A little over a week ago, I started climbing out of my crib. So Daddy & Mommy took the side rail off my crib to convert it into a "toddler bed." Since that time, I haven't been sleeping very well during the day or at night. I think that I had only 2 naps this whole week and most nights (with the exception of the night before last), I've been going to bed around midnight or later. More on this issue below . . .

This morning I went to Moppets where I learned that I had graduated to the next class up b/c I am a big girl. I had a great time with my new classmates!

Afterwards, Mommy took me for a walk around our neighborhood, but she had to cut our walk short because I didn't want to walk anymore and I didn't want to ride in the stroller. I insisted on being carried. Mommy is now rethinking getting a double stroller for when the "new kid" comes along because she's learning that I hate being in the stroller. I'm starting to say more 2 word combinations, such as "walk home" today (of course, I said it even though I wanted Mommy to carry me).

When we got home, we blew bubbles outside of our house. I even blew bubbles a couple times - for the first time ever! Soon, I will be a professional bubble blower:)

Later on, Mommy read me a few books and we watched Sesame Street together where the letter of the day was K.

Finally, Mommy tried to put me down for a nap and here is what happened:

As a result of my sleep issues, I started saying my first 3 word phrase - "open the door" - although in this video, I'm just saying "open door." Anyways, I continued like this for about an hour. Finally, I went down:

Oh and I wanted to post this picture for Grandma Yook. Here, I'm eating Grandma Yook's homemade Korean noodles with black bean sauce - yum yum! Thanks Grandma Yook!

I also just received my new trampoline, which was an early birthday gift from Grandma & Grandpa Yook. Thanks so much! Mommy & Daddy hasn't set it up yet, but I'm ready for it when they do!

Love,
Jackie
