Tuesday Morning Pics (Snowy Day Outside)

Hi Everyone,

Today was cold and snowy so Jackie & Jonathan stayed in. Unfortunately, Jonathan started throwing up around 11am. We're not sure what's wrong yet, but he can't keep anything in. However, he's in good spirits and he doesn't have a fever.

Jackie's doing well. She's been busy riding her tricyle (yes - Jackie can finally pedal well!!!), hopping on her ball, playing with her hotwheel cars, jumping on her trampoline and going down on her slide. Also, she's been getting very good at putting together puzzles. She also loves playing in her kitchen (particularly making and serving burgers). She also has become very good at using the mouse (as part of her leapfrog game system).

Jackie is still struggling with her jealousy issues. She hits Jonathan at least a couple times a day. Luckily, Jonathan's helmet has been protecting him (though he will be getting his helmet removed beginning tomorrow). Jackie still doesn't nap and is still a picky eater.

Over the weekend, Jackie had a great time at her friend Tyler's birthday party. Here is a picture of the birthday boy:





Jackie is very conversational these days and enjoys going to preschool. She talks about her teachers and her classmates all the time. She loves to swing and even knows a few Korean songs. However, one negative trait that she developed (not through preschool) is that she has become obsessed with other people's clothes. She wants everyone's clothes (i.e. Julia's pants, Daddy's grey shirt, Grandpa' green coat, etc.).

Jonathan is doing well (other than his illness from today). He just started going to the church nursery as of this weekend. We were told that he did very well - always smiling or sleeping. He's becoming a lot more active in his crib. However, he is still not rolling over and he still does not enjoy being in the exersaucer (which Jackie loved at this age). He loves watching others and being part of the action. He also loves to suck on his fingers and he enjoys playing with baby toys. Despite all of the abuse that he gets from his sister, Jonathan enjoys hanging out with Jackie. Jonathan is getting big. He is fully in 9 months clothing now. In fact, he is even wearing some 18 month blanket sleepers (all depends on the brand, cut etc.). Although Jonathan wasn't really big on the swing before, he seems to enjoy it a lot now.
