Trying on My New Hanbok & Found Place for My Dol!

Hi Everyone,

Today Grandma & Grandpa Yook came to visit me! They brought me a new hanbok (a traditional Korean dress) straight from Korea. I plan to wear this dress during my Dol (Korean 1st Birthday Celebration).

In addition, Mommy found a place for my Dol (Woo Lae Oak). The room that she reserved has really cute wall decorations (see below). Mommy had a pretty heated conversation with the manager today b/c she insisted on a contract for this event. However, after talking to managers at other Korean restaurants (as well as my grand uncle in NYC), she learned that Koreans do not sign contracts for these occasions. Although I am half Korean, I find this practice very strange. Hope they do a good a job. If not, I'm going some kick some butt:)
