Jonathan's Stats at 1 month and news on Jackie's height and weight!

At Jonathan's 1 month check-up:
Height: 22.25 inches: 50% (according to the pediatrician's office, it is 75%)
Weight: 10 lbs: 50% (according to the pediatrician's office, it is 60%)
Head: 14.5 inches: 10% (according to the pediatrician's office, it is 50%)
We're not sure why the percentiles at the pediatrician's office differs so much from the calculator on babycenter, but all went well during the appointment.

While we waited for Dr. Miceli, we measured Jackie's height and weight.
For Jackie:
Height: 38.5 inches - 95% (based on babycenter calculator)
Weight: 35 lbs - 95% (based on babycenter's calculator)

According to Dr. Miceli, if you take the height at 3 years old and double it and add & substract 3 inches, you will get a pretty accurate range of what the child's adult height will be. Using this formula, Jackie will be 6'2" on the low end (assuming that she doesn't grow any more from now until she turns 3 - which is 7 months away). Dr. Miceli says that this formula has almost always been accurate. But there are other formulas as well. For instance, babycenter uses a different calculation, where as Jackie's future height would be only 5'11". Also, based on her stats at 2 years, she will only be 5'9" using babycenter's calculations. No matter what, Jackie will be much taller than Mommy.

Jackie & Jonathan's friends Lucian and Lennon kindly loaned Jonathan their bumbo seat. Here is Jonathan trying out the bumbo at 1 month:


Even though the bumbo was intended for Jonathan, Jackie keeps sitting in it as well. Jackie also likes to pick her nose.
