Random Update!

Hi Everyone,

Hope you're enjoying this beautiful weekend!

Mommy recently got me some new/old clothes b/c I had outgrown a lot of my old outfits. She went to a consignment sale on Friday and got 2 tops and 2 pants for $10! We also got a few things from my favorite store: Target.

I've really gotten into eating eggs. Today I had close to 3(scrambled)! I also had some multigrain pancakes. Mommy & Daddy were shocked that I was scarfing down so much food. I started the morning with 1 full bottle, followed by 1 muffin (with peanut butter), followed by tons of strawberries, followed by 3 eggs and some pancakes! I think that I'm finally getting into this "big girl" food. Warm milk isn't that great anymore.

After breakfast, Daddy took me to the park where I ran into Joey. Sorry Joey for taking your ball! I just get so attached to balls and balloons. I'll bring it back to you later this week.

The other day, I said another new word: strawberries. We had just entered Whole Foods and as soon as I saw the strawberry display, I said "strawberries"! Unfortunately, I haven't repeated it since. So here are the words that I've said so far (though not consistently): strawberries, out, yellow, dog, eat, mama, dada, bear, baby, what is that, and juice. Oh and I can now identify pictures in a book! I've been signing a lot - but I've only been using the "more" sign.

I'm trying to work on animal sounds - which I've never really taken too before. So Mommy got me this animal farm puzzle (along with the number one so that we can work on calculous equations).

Tomorrow, I'm heading out to Cox Farms to see the "real" animals. I'm so excited! I promise to take tons of pictures!

OH- and on a very positive note, Pop Pop is doing much better. Thanks so much for your prayers everyone!

OK - here are some pics:

I love eating goldfish out of my snack trap (thanks Auntie Y). However, I've been kind of defeating the purpose of the snack trap b/c I keep taking the top of it off!

Welcome to my new reading corner!!! Mommy just set up this special area for me this morning. I feel a lot of peace and tranquility over here:) Who needs a chair when you can have a basket? I layered the bottom of my basket with my cousin Valerie's sleeping bag for extra squishiness.

Here I am relaxing in my bath:

Have a great rest of the day!

Love,
Jackie

I love the idea of a reading corner using a laundry basket!
