What Happened to My Lower Lip?! & Concentrating Really Hard

Hey Everyone,

Sorry I wasn't able to post yesterday. I needed Mommy's help but she was snoozing in the afternoon.

Grandma and Grandpa Yook left yesterday morning after helping out Mommy & Daddy for the weekend. Grandpa Yook's leg is looking pretty good!

Last night, I woke up at around 1am, 4am and 6am. I hope that I will start sleeping thru the night one day. I'm really trying, but it's hard, ya know? Please say a prayer for me!

Mommy & Daddy were going to start me on solids this weekend, but they decided to wait until I turned 6 months old just to be on the safe side. By then, my digestive tract should be well equiped to handle the solids:)

Just wanted to give a shout out to my Mom Mom and Pop Pop Harris. Hope you had a safe drive up to Maine. Say hello to Mr. and Mrs. Fox for me:) Look forward to seeing you on August 12th - I love BBQ's - even though I can't eat any burgers yet:)
One day though - I'll be competing with Daddy to see who can scarf up the most burgers! though sometimes I think that Mommy has the bigger appetite:)

Ok - today Mommy's going to start a different routine for me. My friend, Lucian Brucker is sleeping thru the night and he goes to bed at 10:30pm. So Mommy is going to try the same thing. Wish me luck!

Rolled Over Again

Hi Everyone,

Sorry that I didn't post yesterday. Too much excitement going on with Grandma and Grandpa Yook's surprise visit. Last night, we tried out a new Korean restaurant and I behaved very well. I didn't make one peep even though the 10 month old at the table next to me was crying a lot. I guess I'm pretty mature for my age.

Here is a picture of me snoozing this morning. My Mommy put me down on my back and I rolled over on my tummy. The picture looks like I'm sleeping on my side - but I'm really on my tummy.

I may start solids today (rice cereal with bananas). I'm not sure though b/c Daddy & Mommy are a little nervous - but they may give it a shot. Wish me luck! If I try solids, I'll post some pictures too!

Happy Thursday

Hi Everyone,

Happy Thursday. Not much going on - but Uncle Chuck might be stopping by this evening to babysit while Mommy takes a nap. Lately, I've been eating a lot. My sleep is still so so. I went to bed last night at 8pm and woke up at midnight, 2:30am and 6am. I got up for the day around 9:30am.

Dream Feeding - OT- Mommy & Daddy's Wedding Photo

Hi Everyone,

Last night Mommy & Daddy tried to "dream feed" me. But I was too smart for them! I told them that I wasn't having any of it and when they woke me up at 11pm to "dream feed" me, I ended up staying up for next hour instead of going right back to bed. I kind of feel sorry for them because they keep trying all kinds of different things to get me to sleep thru the night (i.e. crying it out, dream feeds, early bedtimes, late bedtimes, etc.). But I guess I'm just not ready cooperate yet. I consider myself a free spirit. Well I ended up going to bed around 12:30am (after crying for almost an hour and pounding on my crib with my crib toy - finally Mommy gave in). I slept until 5am. Mommy fed me and then I stayed asleep until 9:30am. I was in a really good mood this morning.

By the way, I found some wedding pictures of Mommy & Daddy. I'll post some more pictures of me later though.

A Better Day

Hi Everyone,

Well - I'll start with last night. Mommy & Daddy had to see Dr. Hsu, our dentist, for their check-up. Daddy was with Dr. Hsu for over an hour - I was getting so tired. I met a cute boy though - Dr. Hsu's son (he's a little old for me since he's 13 months):) I had a great time talking to the receptionist and the dental assistants - but I was getting very tired. One of these days, when I get teeth, Dr. Hsu will need to check me out - he's a nice dentist!

We got home late - around 9:30pm. I was tired and kind of cranky - so I didn't go to bed until around 10:30pm. Mommy & Daddy were really tired too. I was able to sleep until 2:30am though. I woke up again around 4am and I kind of woke up at 6am - but I was just playing in my crib and having a good ole time by myself. Lately, I've found that I really enjoy playing by myself at 6am. Mommy fed me around 6:40am before she went to work. But I wasn't really hungry and I think I only had about a couple ounces. After she put me down around 7am, I slept until close to 11am. And when I woke up, I didn't even fuss. Daddy got me when he heard me playing in my crib. After I woke up, I played on the playmat, jumperoo and exersaucer. After that, I went down for an hour nap. I got up briefly to eat - but went back down for another hour. Luckily Mommy got to nap too - she's been kind of tired these days - I have absolutely no idea why:)

Ok - well I'm off to see baby Einstein (Baby Neptune).

No Sleep for Mommy & Daddy

Hi Guys

It's me Jackie. I didn't really sleep too well last night. I went to bed around 8:30pm - but I woke up at 9:30pm, midnight, 2am, 3am, 4am, 6am. I'm not sure why I woke up so much. I think today should be better. Well it's early in the day - not much else going on. I think Mommy & Daddy are really tired this morning. Oh and I had a big poo right when Mommy was about leave for work. I got Mommy good! hehe.

Rolled Over!

I rolled over for the first time this morning! I fought out of my miracle blanket and rolled over on my tummy in my crib. Good-bye miracle blanket!

My Very First Blog Post!

Hi Everyone,

Today is my first post on my blog. This morning, I woke up around 5am. Luckily, my Grandma & Grandpa Yook were around to play with me so that Mommy & Daddy could sleep in a little bit more. I played for 2 hours. Normally, I'd still be sleeping, but Grandma & Grandpa didn't know my routine. But I had a lot of fun. I hope to see them again!

I took my first nap around 7am and I slept for about 2 hours. After that, I played on my new jumperoo. I think I'm enjoying it a little bit more than yesterday. But it's still kind of strange. I took my second nap around noon and I slept until 2pm. After that, Mommy was so hungry that we ended up going to Denny's for some food. Yeah - Mommy & Daddy like to eat breakfast food in the afternoon! Aren't those guys crazy!? After "lunch" we went to Kohls so that Mommy could get some sandals. Lets see - and after that - we took a family trip to Whole Foods. My Daddy LOVES organic!

We got home around 5pm and I went down for an hour nap. When I woke up, I had my largest poo of the day - boy, I felt so much better:) Unfortunately, I got it on my new ice cream outfit. But that's okay - Mommy & Daddy know what to do. Mommy & Daddy also gave me a bath. I LOVE my bath!

I went to bed around 7pm - and now I'm in sleepy land - check in with you guys tomorrow!
