Trying Out Possible Halloween Costumes & Monday Play Group!

Hi Everyone,

Today I went to a super fun play group at my friend Lucian's house. I was the only girl there, but I had a fun time playing with the guys:) Sorry - I forgot to bring my camera, so no pics of the play group!

Over the weekend, I tried on several possible Halloween costumes.









As you can tell, I look super cute in all of them. But I decided to go with a different costume. I'll post a pic as soon as I get my costume. I'll probably be a princess or fairy next year (hopefully, my hair will grow out by then).

Play Group on Friday!

Hi Everyone,

Hope everyone is having a great start to your week!

I'm having such a great morning - esp. b/c Daddy decided to take me out for a walk. Here I am right before the walk:



Yesterday, I went over to Owen's house for a Friday afternoon play group.

Here is a photo of me chillin with Joey. We had so much fun playing with Owen's cool toys!


Here's a cute photo of Owen and Ethan - they are cousins. I wish my cousins lived nearby!!!


Once again, Mommy took a very unflattering picture of me! What are you trying to do Mommy - embarrass me??!


I LOVED LOVED mowing the lawn! Thanks Owen for letting me use your lawn mower! It's so cool having guy friends b/c I can play with their lawn mowers, trucks and trains! Mommy only gets me the girly stuff that I'm not too crazy about! After mowing the lawn, I even took some time out to change the gas.


Here's the gang - sorry this pic wasn't the most flattering of all of us, but at least we were sort of looking in the right direction! (From left to right, Joey, Ethan, Madelyn (the only other chica), me, and Owen).


Joey and I stepped away to the "dining" table for some alone time - actually, just to snack away!

Cooking in My Kitchen!

How do you like my new kitchen? Now I can cook and wash dishes just like Mommy & Daddy! I also like to store my books and stores in the frig and oven - just like Mommy & Daddy!

Latest Developments

Hi There,

It's me again. Well let's see. I'm now in size 5 diapers! Yes, my butt and belly have continued to get big.

I also started nursery school last week, which I've really enjoyed. Today, I got to play with some playdoh for the first time and I LOVED it. Of course, when Mommy came to pick me up, I got all upset- see photo below:


I was having so much fun and I didn't want to leave!

Today, I had my hearing test and I passed without any problems. We just wanted to rule out that my speech delay wasn't caused by any hearing issues. I'm making a lot of sounds - but not a whole lot of words. Hopefully, it'll come soon.

I'm so happy that Mommy doesn't have to go into work anymore. Here is what our weekly morning schedule looks:

Mon - Random activities with Mommy and friends
Tues - Mothering Matters playgroup
Wed - nursery school
Thurs - Moppets
Fri - Mainly Music class

In the afternoons, I nap. Lately, I've been napping at around 2pm and going down for the night at 8pm. Since Mommy isn't working anymore, Daddy goes into work by 10am and is home by 6:30pm! So we can finally have dinner together! Yippee! Daddy also takes me out on evening father-daughter walks. It's been very nice.

I was so excited to see A & A again for a LONG separation from them both in terms of time and distance. They were all the way in Canada - you know that "other" country. Auntie Victoria was so thoughtful to bring me back a "Hip Chic" T-shirt. I'll have to show you a pic of the T-shirt soon. it's very cute. Thanks so much Auntie Victoria!

Here are some pics from Meadowlark on Monday. The weather was beautiful! I got to wear my fall rain jacket and jeans. As you can see, I hung out with A & A again!

P.S. We recently had a scare with Pop Pop - but he is doing better. Still, please keep praying for Pop Pop and Mom Mom as there is still a long road ahead. Also, please pray for my friend Lucian, who is sick.

Pimmit Hills Day!

Hi Everyone,

I know that you guys have been waiting for a picture overload post - so here it is!

Today was a fun day! In the morning, we went to Costco to get membership! Woohoo! Now we can buy in bulk!

After all of that excitement, we headed over to Olney Park for Pimmit Hills Day! I got to see a lot of familiar friends, but I mainly cozied up with Lucian:)

They had hamburgers, hot dogs and even a fire truck!

Mommy & I are wearing the exact same dress - only $7.00 each from H & M! Can't beat that price!
