Visit from Mom Mom and Pop Pop Harris

Hi Everyone,

On Sunday, Mom Mom and Pop Pop Harris came to see me - Jackie! I got some cool new bibs (see photo above) and Mom Mom Harris gave Mommy a tutorial on spoon feeding me. Thanks Mom Mom for helping Mommy!

Also, Mom Mom made a really cool wall decoration for my room using my birth annoucement. Check it out - it's so cute and it matches my bedroom wall color perfectly. I especially like the squishy feet:)

Trying on My Mommy's Traditional Korean Outfit

Hi Everyone,

Today Grandma and Grandpa Yook stopped by for a visit and they brought over my Mommy's traditional Korean outfit for me to wear. Typically, you're supposed to wear this outfit when you turn 1. However, because I am a bigger baby than my Mommy was, I had to wear it now - otherwise, I won't fit into it later on. I wasn't a happy camper during these picture - so sorry - no smile! It's funny because in some of the pictures you can see a picture of my cousin Natalie on the frig wearing her traditional outfit (when she turned 1). Grandma Yook is going get me a new hanbok when I turn one. Again, the one I'm wearing is 30 years old!

Grandma Yook also gave me the silver spoon and chopsticks that my Mommy got when she turned 1.

Introducing the Newest Member of the 2006 Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleading Squad!

Unfortunately, I have to cheer from home because the other cheerleaders felt threatened by my beauty and talent! It's not easy having it all! Anyways, I'm OK cheering at home because Daddy & I are working on some routines and cheers together. I think these cheers will really come in handy during the critical moments of the game!

Btw- I have my hand in my mouth in some of these pictures because I am still teething - it's not part of the routine!

Guess Who's Teething?

Hi - this is picture of me sleeping. Don't I look like sleeping beauty? Mommy took me to work today (yes again - and I don't think that I've even been paid yet!). I think she's trying to negotiate my hourly rate with Bob. Anyways, she noticed that my first tooth was coming out. She tried to take a picture when we got home, but she had a tough time getting the picture to focus. Maybe Daddy can take my picture tonight. We'll see! I was wondering why I was drooling so much. Also, I've been putting my entire fist in my mouth (A LOT)!

Today my naps have been much better!

A Rougher Night!

Hi Folks,

I was a little rough on Mommy & Daddy last night and today. Mommy put me down at 8:30pm - but I just wanted to hang out with Mommy & Daddy. I know that they were getting frustrated with me - but I couldn't help it. I was so happy everytime that they got me from my crib. I had the biggest smile each time that I saw them. Yes - I'm pretty good at manipulating Mommy & Daddy - esp. Mommy. I finally went to sleep at 10pm and woke up at 5am. So I guess I still had a good stretch. After my 5am waking, I woke up at 6am and 6:40am. Again, I just wanted to see Mommy and Daddy again.

Mommy & Daddy - I know that I was rough on you guys - but I'm just trying to tell you that I'm beginning to fall in love with you as much as you're both in love with me:)

I've also been getting stuck a lot between the rails of my crib - so Mommy is going to get something called a "breathable bumper" from my friend Lucian's Mommy. Hope it helps! I get really scared when I get stuck!

Testing Out My New Stroller!

Here I am testing out my new stoller! It's a little big for me now - but I should be able to sit in it just fine next month when I'm 6 months old and I can sit up by myself! I'm still using the snugrider, but this stroller will soon by next "main" stroller. Mommy & Daddy love it because it is so light (less than 9 lbs), easy to steer, and very easy to open and fold. Mommy was going to wait to buy it later - but she had a coupon and Mommy loves coupons!

Originally, Grandma and Grandpa Yook were supposed to supposed to visit this weekend, along with my aunt and cousins from Dallas. As it turns out my cousin Natalie is sick. Natalie - hope you feel better soon!

So I just hung out with Mommy and Daddy. btw- Daddy -sorry that I was being a melonhead today. I know that you were really looking forward to getting your "death by chocolate" ice cream from Friendly's - but I was getting so tired - that's why I cried so much! I'll be better next time!

Also - I wanted to let everyone know that I had my best night ever! I slept 9 hours! I woke up very briefly around 2:50am - but Mommy & Daddy did not need to get me because I was able to put myself back to sleep.

Btw - and my new Eagles cheerleading uniform is on its way! I can't wait to wear it so that I can help cheer on the Eagles with Daddy. I'm looking forward to my first Eagles season ever! Thank you Mom Mom Harris for helping Mommy find the uniform! I know that she really appreciates it.

Also - just a belated shout out my friend Kristi Knauss who turned 1 a couple days ago! Can't wait to see you again soon! I'm so jealous that you can run already!

Oh and quick shout out to my cousins Phil & Val- wanted to wish you guys a successful and fun soccer season! You guys are the best!

Just a Follow-up to My Last Post

Shortly, after my last post, I finally had my huge poo! I think Mommy will need to start wearing rubber gloves or something whenever she changes me for now on:)

My New Booster Seat/High Chair & Not Sleeping as Well

Hi Everyone,

Here are a few pictures of me in my new booster seat/high chair that I got from Aunt Sara and Uncle Steve.








I keep wanting to lean over to one side - but I think I like it. Incidentally, Mommy has not started me on the sweet potatoes yet - but she will let me play with the box!

My sleep has been so so. The last two nights, I slept from 8:30pm until around 3am or 3:30am. One night I was being kind of bad and i stayed up for an hour and half and I did not go back to bed until around 5am. I had a great time - but I don't think Mommy & Daddy felt the same way! They're just party poopers! Once I went back to sleep, I slept for a long time - until around 10am!

Mommy has been having a little trouble with the spoon feeding. I keep wanting to lean my head down so it is hard for me to take the spoon. I think Mommy needs to get a tutorial or refresher course from either Mom Mom Harris or Grandma Yook. She's trying - but I like doing melonstuff during my meals!

I don't know if you want to know this - but I think the cereal is changing my pooping habits. Lately, I've only been able to go every few days. Back when I was a little baby - I went every day - sometimes several times a day. At least Daddy doesn't think that my poop stinks! Well on that note - I'll say bye for now!

My First Time at Gymboree with Jacob & Sleeping 8.5 Hours Straight!

That's right! You heard it folks - I slept for 8.5 hours straight (from 8:30pm until 5am) - my best every!!!

Here are some pictures of me at Gymboree with my friend Jacob. Gymboree was okay but I think I'd enjoy it more when I'm a little older. But I liked hanging out with Jacob!

Visit with Aunt Kathy and Uncle Gary

Hi Everyone,

Also this weekend, I went to see my Grand Uncle Gary and Grand Aunt Kathy. They live about 30 minutes from Mom Mom and Pop Pop's house. It was neat to finally meet them. They live in a cute house with 14 cute little kittens! I had a good time and I hope I'll see them again! Also, they liked me so much that they gave me 6 new outfits and some money to put in my piggy bank!

After My Bath - with Mom Mom & Grandmom Frazier!

Jackie in the house again! Well after my first spoon feeding, Mom Mom Harris and Grandmom Frazier (aka Mom cubed) gave me a nice bath. I made quite a mess during the feeding that I REALLY needed this bath. I have some other really cute pictures of me - but I didn't want to share them here b/c I was more completely "nekid."

First Time Eating with a Spoon!

Hey Everyone,

Saturday (the day before I turned 5 months old) was a really big day for me. I started eating with a spoon! I was at Mom Mom and Pop Pop Harris's house for the big event. I was a little nervous at first - but I showed everyone that I can do it! It was neat because everyone took turns feeding me. I think I finished the whole bowl of ORGANIC (for Daddy) cereal! Also, Mom Mom brought out Daddy and Uncle Eric's silver spoon from when they were babies for my first spoon feeding. So I kind of felt like I was part of a family tradition. Maybe one day I can use that spoon on my daughter - whoa, thats a billion years away - right?!

I went to bed at 8:30pm and I slept until 4am - another night sleeping thru the night! Hooray!

I love being almost 5 months old!

My First Time Swimming!

Boy - what a weekend. I'll talk about some other "first" events in my posts, but let me tell you about swimming! Mom Mom & Pop Pop Harris had a nice pink pool just for me! I sat there and looked at the little fishy designs. I also had a chance to show off my brand new bikini! Not to brag, but I definitely have the body for it. Even Grandmom Frazier said that I really fill it out!
